In order for RM Legal and Conveyancing to prepare a Contract of Sale for your property, we will require an initial payment of $300 from you. The $300 allows us to order the necessary certificates required by law to be in your Contract of Sale (COS).
The payment is non-refundable as it’s covering the cost of the certificates and not going into our back pocket. This initial payment comes off your total fees which are collected at settlement of your property (where we collect your money for the sale of your property and pay out any lenders whom you owe money to).
In order to transfer the initial deposit, you will need to know how to use Internet Banking. If you are unsure about this, please have a chat to your financial institution (bank, building society, credit union).

If you receive an email confirmation of the transfer from your financial institution, please email a copy to us. We will then order your searches immediately instead of having to wait for the money to arrive in our account.
